Abstract:
The Voice Communication Sciences (VoCS) project is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to position Europe at the forefront of Voice Research. This project, funded by a prestigious Marie Curie Action, unites 22 partners from academia and industry across 12 countries.
The VoCS project is committed to fostering the next generation of voice scientists. The aim is to equip 19 doctoral candidates (DCs) with a comprehensive knowledge of cognitive neuroscience, acoustics, phonetics, and computing science. These candidates will undergo a unique training-by-research program, which includes hands-on lab research, workshops, and industry placements, to develop their expertise in fundamental, technological, and clinical aspects of voice communication.
