Abstract:

The project deals with interdisciplinary research of factors of regionally and socioeconomically conditioned variability of Czech at various levels of linguistic description, and with their effect on creating an image of the speaker in tje minds of the listener, as well as on the optimal course of speech communication at the level of cerebral processing of the speech signal. In other words, various facotrs of variability are identified, modelled and tested in perception experiments so that their effect on the speaker and communication situation is captured.
